- Mena Trott: Quality is a Feature. As a slogan, even if about different technology, it's very appropriate for some of the discussions going on here at the moment. Documentation is also a feature.

- Conferences have a strange effect on me, in that I always seem to invent something new to work on. I did some coding last night, but got a bit stuck trying to figure out how to test the result of an asynchronous NSURLConnection with UnitKit. Anyone know?

- People smoke too much in Athens, and they smoke in places that you'd thankfully never be allowed to in the UK. The hotel lobby is barely survivable at coffee time. I've seen restaurant staff smoking in kitchens whilst preparing food too. Really gross. At least they're not smoking in the actual conference rooms themselves, but that's probably only because there are no ashtrays.

- Athens, or maybe just this particular locale, strikes me as quite unsanitary. Lots of rubbish on the streets and overflowing trash and stuff.

- There's a space-alien-themed strip joint down the road from the hotel.

- Powerpoint crimes of the day: deep purple text on dark red background. Light green text on white background.
